What you need to know about me
Dr Kathryn Hughes, HCPC-Registered Clinical Psychologist
As a person I'm friendly, non-judgmental, and approachable and I'm dedicated to offering a safe, confidential and supportive environment for individuals seeking psychological support. At the heart of therapy is the relationship between the client and their therapist - I believe these personal qualities are equally as important as the type of therapy itself.
As a professional I'm an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a background of working in the NHS at a senior level. Clinical psychology training equips me to work with a range of psychological difficulties with people of all ages. I have undergone additional training that allows me to offer specialist therapies including Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
